30' DFD 230v WOP Mercury Float

The Double Float pump switch consists of two floats (on and off), two cables molded to one piggyback plug cord and two releasable mounting straps. Both sealed floats contain a heavy-duty mercury switch with a holding relay sealed inside one float.

The special heavy-duty, mercury-to-mercury type switches, together with a unique circuit, prevent relay-contact arcing when starting and stopping a pump. Utilizing this no-arc concept, the float switch is capable of directly switching high-motor starting currents: 1/2 to 1-1/2hp maximum without a control panel.
